What Happens After the Procedure?
As the fibroblast skin tightening procedure does produce microscopic wounds, there is some aftercare that is required. Immediately after the procedure, the affected areas may be red and/or swollen. It is best to avoid makeup for the first 24-48 hours. Small brown spots will appear on the tiny wounds, and these should fall off naturally within a week. The certified professionals who perform the procedure will typically provide a balm for these spots.
Results are not often immediately noticeable. There is occasion where clients may see tighter skin immediately, but the best results will be noticeable by around six weeks. Unfortunately, results are not permanent; sagging skin and wrinkles will reappear eventually as the collagen in the body is not reproduced at its previous speedy rate. Wrinkles can reappear within 9-18 months depending on how clients care of their skin and their lifestyle choices. Afterwards, the fibroblast skin tightening procedure may need to be performed again.
